This journey ends and a new one begins:Goodbye - till we meet again

Dear Celeste and Friends,

It's really hard to say goodbye.Standing on the brink of executing the last phase of my assignment, I am remembering the excitement with which I prepared this blog- my very first blog and so all the more special and of sentimental value to me.

Thinking about this journey coming to an end makes me feel sad and nostalgic.I will miss reading the blogs and the Nicenet discussions, running to Celeste with my various blunders. Working late nights and wishing I could glue my lashes wide open, feeling inspiration strike and the fire flow in my veins as I just couldn't stop or do anything else but bring that inspiration to life.It was an exhilarating, joyous and incredible journey, very enlightening and full of amazing learning activities that ensured that we evolved and became more empowered.

I know that I need to look forward. I have already begun executing my plan and the excitement among all my students is spreading like fire .Please visit them and encourage them on magicalnines.blogspot.in

And so the journey doesn't end- it only branches in another direction. It changes shape and reaches out further and that is what is happening to each one of us. should not consider this an end but a new beginning.

The course was rigorous and challenging but exciting and totally captivating. It has expanded the scope of thinking , broadened the vision and stimulated the intellect.. It was a wonderful learning experience where I learnt by understanding, comprehending and application. The course gave me the tools which led to new ways of thinking.

Right upto the last day we were learning- a very important lesson that teachers are primarily learners and they learn for life.

I am glad I made the right choices . Thank you Celeste for being my strength and guide.

What I learnt this week :
I had already come across  Harold Gardner's  theory of Multiple Intelligences which revolved around  nine intelligences. Richard Felder's exploration of different learning styles and then the different learning strategies that can assist teachers created a whole and complete picture.
I enjoyed finding my own learning style.

As we stepped into December ,it is still learning all the way. What is beautiful is that the learning continues and we learn and grow and act and interact. This time I found an amazing video on a true teacher, really beautiful and touching.

I truly feel blessed to be a teacher to work in the present with the future. Keep in touch friends and touch hearts. We will go our own ways and yet we will be bound in that circle of life as teachers- the builders of the future .

The inspirational video below emphasizes that the true joy in life is the joy of giving. As the Bible says,' As you sow ,so shall you reap'. So we sow seeds of goodness and kindness with the hope and assurance that we will reap a harvest .

Thank you Celeste for being the heart and soul of our class. You helped us reach our goals and achieve our dreams. Please do keep in touch.Thank you Atyrgul for your feedback. It helped me and I have included the learning outcomes that you have suggested. Thank you Ritesh for dropping in and your supportive comments. Thank you Hoa, Finita and Majid for visiting and leaving your comments. It was apleasure meeting all of you here. Hope we meet again soon .

Life is waiting- new adventures are beckoning, new challenges are calling.
Let's run and welcome and dance to Life's beat,
Let's join hands together,
To give fiery wings to dancing feet.

Wishing all - my mentor and my friends all the best in all your future endeavours.
With love and best regards,
Grace
